Next time you need to clean your kitchen, don’t spend money on powerful cleaning products that contain harmful toxins and chemicals that could be making you sick. Instead, use these tips to learn how to clean your kitchen without having to resort to using toxic cleaning products.
Make Kitchen Drains Smell Lemony Fresh
Each time you wash the dishes, food particles and other gunk start to build up in the drain of your sink. Over time, a horrible smell will start to fill your kitchen. Luckily, it is extremely easy to fix.
If you have a garbage disposal, take one or two fresh lemons and cut them up into squares. If you don’t have a garbage disposal, you can squeeze the lemons and use the juice. Toss the lemon squares or juice into the sink followed by some baking soda then run some warm water down the sink for a minute or two and the smell will be gone.
Grab the Baking Soda and Clean Your Sinks
Baking soda is an amazing, all-natural product that can be used to remove dirt, grease, and just about anything else from around your kitchen sink. To create a cleaning product that will make your sink sparkle and shine, all you have to do is mix a little bit of baking soda with water. Put the mixture on a sponge and clean away.
This cleaning tip also works great for cleaning kitchen counters and stovetops.
